Early Career Award. The International Society of Exposure Analysis
(ISEA) announces the availability of the Early Career Award in the
area of human exposure analysis, sponsored by the American Chemistry
Council (the Council). This
award provides up to $100,000 to encourage persons beginning their
professional careers to conduct research on various challenging issues
related to human exposure analysis. The
program is sponsored by the Council's Long-Range Research Initiative
(LRI) and is intended to enhance career development for investigators
at academic or other public or private non-private institutions in
North America, encourage innovative research, and strengthen the
dialogue between the Council and the research community. The
funds may be used to defray a variety of costs associated with research
investigations. For
example, funds can be used to pay salaries of investigators, students,
and technicians, as well as provide support for sample analyses,
travel, equipment, supplies, and costs associated with publishing.
The project duration may be up to three years. Collaborative
efforts are encouraged.
